a referral system

suggestion-

making a mini-referral system.. I came up with this awhile back, and I suggest using this, so you can sort of keep track of her refers who to the forum. it's kind of difficult to keep track of because it doesn't give you a board to or anything to keep track of it, but it works..
the directions
ACP>Users & Groups>Profiles
what you do is, go to bottom part of the Profile page, and click the plus

a page like this will come up..

leave the first field at "text field"
change the Name: to something "Referred By" and maybe change the color or something
make the Description something like "this is the person I was referred by
leave the URL icon blank
check yes/no by Necessarily Filled-yes if you want the person to tell you who he was referred by or no if you want it to be their option to tell you
choose to display it on either Message, or Profile, or both. I prefer both.
leave the display type
under "who can modify the profile field value?" click member himself
choose who can view the field,
and make the seperator a line jump
in the Text field Box at the bottom, set the default Content to something like No Referral
and the max Character like 50 or something lol
